Question: Pros and cons of self-contained cellar cooling units? And its installation notes?

Answer:

Pros--Lower cost; Easy installation, do not require an HVAC technician to install (again, saving money).

Cons--Usually visible inside and outside of the wine cellar; Condenser may be noisy; May not be suitable for your application due to ventilation requirements.

Note: Self-contained units require adequate ventilation on the exhaust side of the unit to dissipate the heat generated during operation. Also the condenser intake temperature should not exceed 85/30
